Winter Meetup Discussions

It's time to start planning for this year's winter meetup. This thread will be for planning and attendance. All your input is welcome and appreciated

I will be moving to PA soon.
I don't know if I'll be in a position to host this year. Maybe... we'll just to see when and how it goes.
Are there any suggestions as to when and where we can meet up?

Or, if we get an idea of who all is attending we can try to find a central area.
If we have to rent a hotel, then planning something after the holiday "peak" time may be the best option. Just a thought.

I'm planning on attending, barring any unforeseen problems. I do think that waiting until the holidays are over is a good idea. As far as topics to begin thinking about would be building up local groups, with local order halls that meet once or twice a month for knightly related/community service activities. Other topics to discuss would be some additional positions, notably an order chaplain(s). If there is anything you would like to see added, let us know

I agree that after the holidays is probably best. Since it might be a little chilly in your necks of the woods, let's make sure wherever we're at won't be hindered by weather, as in "I'm not putting up a tent in the snow" LOL

I'm open to finding a neutral place as well.
